Bottle deposits need to return to the retailer based systems of the past. Distributors collect empties as they drop off stock. Combined with refillable bottles this actually leads to CHEAPER product.

From Coke’s own sustainability statement they use refillable bottles I developing countries to “provide a more affordable product for the consumer and to reduce waste”

The reason they don’t implement refillable bottles in all markets is greed, they own the plastic bottle companies..
